These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Value Village Australia website (valuevillage.com.au) and your purchase of products from us. This website is operated by Kappel Pty Ltd trading as Value Village Australia.
By accessing this website, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or make a purchase.

5. Orders and Payment
Placing an Order
When you place an order on our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products. We reserve the right to accept or decline your order for any reason, including but not limited to product availability, pricing errors or suspected fraudulent activity.
An order is confirmed only when you receive an order confirmation email from us.

All payments must be received in full before your order is dispatched. We do not store your payment card details. All transactions are processed securely through our payment providers.
Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled prior to dispatch. Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation is no longer possible. If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible at service@valuevillage.com.au.
6. Shipping and Delivery
We currently ship Australia wide.
Free Shipping
We offer free standard shipping on orders above $99 to most Australian metro postcodes. Shipping to other postcodes will be calculated based on delivery location and order size and weight.
Estimated Delivery Timeframes
Delivery timeframes are estimates only and commence once your order has been dispatched:
• Standard Shipping: Typically 2 to 5 business days • Express Shipping (where available): Typically 1 to 2 business days • Regional and remote areas may require an additional 1 to 3 business days
Order Processing
Orders are typically dispatched within 1 business day of receiving cleared payment. Once dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking details.
Important Delivery Information
• We recommend providing a delivery address where someone will be available during business hours • Once dispatched, orders cannot be redirected • Delivery timeframes are provided as a guide only and may be impacted by courier delays outside our control
7. Returns and Exchanges
Our returns policy is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Change of Mind Returns
If you change your mind, we are happy to offer a refund or exchange provided:
• The return request is made within 30 days of receiving your order • Items are unused, in original condition, and returned with original packaging, labels and accessories • Proof of purchase is provided
Please note:
• Return shipping costs for change of mind returns are the customer's responsibility • Original shipping charges are not refundable
Non Returnable Items
For health and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns or issue refunds for the following items: Towels, Bed Toppers, Quilts, Quilt Covers, Sheet Sets, Pillows, Pillow Protectors and Mattress Protectors.
How to Request a Return

- Include your order number and reason for return
- Once approved, we will provide return instructions
Please do not send items back without prior approval, as this may delay or void your return. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost in transit.
Refunds
• Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method • Refunds are processed within 5 to 7 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item • Your bank or payment provider may take additional time to reflect the refund
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
If your item is faulty, damaged or not as described, you are entitled to a remedy under the Australian Consumer Law. Please contact us as soon as possible with:
• Your order number • Photos of the issue • A short video (where possible)
For items that arrive damaged, please notify us within 48 hours of receiving the item. We will organise a replacement, repair or refund at no cost to you, including return shipping where applicable.
8. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict or modify any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) or any other applicable legislation that cannot be excluded, restricted or modified by agreement.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
9. Gift Wrapping
We offer gift wrapping services on selected products. Gift wrapping is an optional add on and any applicable charges will be displayed at checkout. Gift wrapping requests are fulfilled on a best efforts basis and presentation may vary slightly from images shown on the website.
10. Promotional Offers and Discount Codes
From time to time, we may offer promotional discounts, coupon codes or special offers. These are subject to the following conditions:
